May 2025 saw the 50th anniversary of my favourite Hawkwind (studio) album - it also happens to be Prog editor Jerry Ewing's favourite HW album too. And so a front cover feature was duly commissioned, which I was more than happy to write...



Days Of The Underground is a decade-long trip into the music of Hawkwind. It explores the ideas and concepts that fuelled the band during their classic 1970s period and speaks to the crew that manned the ship.
